Terms of Service
1. Seller

2. Scope
These terms apply to purchases from RRROOD Editions through rrrood.com and any checkout operated for RRROOD by Shopify. Mandatory rights that apply to you as a consumer cannot be excluded or reduced by these terms.
By placing an order, you confirm that you have legal capacity to enter into the purchase contract and that the information you provide is accurate.
3. Products and presentation
We aim to describe and display each work accurately. Screen settings, ambient light, and the characteristics of photographic paper, printing, glazing, mounts, or frames can produce reasonable differences between an on-screen image and the physical object. Handmade or natural materials can also have minor variations. These normal variations do not affect your rights where an item is defective or does not conform to the contract.
An item is open edition, fixed edition, numbered, signed, certified, framed, or otherwise specially treated only when the relevant product page expressly says so. Product images and room views may be illustrative and are not measurements; use the stated dimensions.
4. Orders and contract formation
Products are offered subject to availability. Submitting an order is an offer to buy. A purchase contract is formed when we send an order confirmation, unless the confirmation expressly states that it is only an acknowledgement requiring further acceptance.
We may reject or cancel an order before acceptance for unavailability, a clear and recognisable pricing or description error, suspected fraud or unlawful activity, an unavailable delivery destination, or another legitimate reason. If payment has been taken for an order we do not accept, we will refund it promptly. We will not cancel an accepted consumer order merely because it became less profitable.
5. Prices, taxes, and payment
Prices are shown in the currency displayed by the store. Consumer prices include applicable sales tax where required. Delivery charges and any other merchant-charged costs are shown before payment. Import duties and recipient-paid border charges are handled as described in the Shipping & Delivery policy.
Payment must be made through a method offered at checkout. We may use payment providers to authorise, process, or protect transactions.
6. Delivery, withdrawal, returns, and defects
The Shipping & Delivery policy and Returns & Refunds policy form part of these terms. They explain delivery, the statutory cooling-off period, return costs, personalised-item exceptions, damage, defects, and refunds.
Nothing in these terms limits statutory guarantees or remedies for goods that are faulty, damaged, unsafe, or not as described.
7. Copyright and permitted use
Purchasing a print or other physical object transfers ownership of that object only. Copyright and all other intellectual-property rights in the photograph, image, text, site, and related materials remain with their respective owner. No purchase grants a right to reproduce, scan, publish, distribute, license, mint, commercially exploit, or create derivative works from the image unless a separate written licence expressly permits it.
This does not restrict the lawful private display, gifting, or resale of the physical object.
8. Website use
You may use the site only for lawful purposes. You must not interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorised access, introduce malicious code, scrape it in a manner that materially burdens the service, or use its content in violation of intellectual-property rights.
We may correct site errors and update or withdraw products prospectively. Changes do not alter a contract already concluded unless both parties agree or the law requires it.
9. Liability
RRROOD is responsible for losses that are a foreseeable result of our breach of contract or failure to use reasonable care. We are not responsible for losses caused solely by information you supplied incorrectly, misuse of the goods, or events outside our reasonable control, except where the law places that risk on us.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud, deliberate misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or mandatory consumer remedies.
10. Events outside reasonable control
If an event outside our reasonable control delays performance, we will take reasonable steps to reduce the effect and inform affected customers. This section does not remove statutory rights relating to late delivery, cancellation, or refund.
11. Complaints
Send complaints to hello@rrrood.com with your order number where relevant and a clear description of the issue. We will acknowledge and address complaints within a reasonable time. RRROOD is not currently stated to be affiliated with a private dispute-resolution board.
12. Governing law and disputes
These terms and contracts with RRROOD are governed by Dutch law. If you are a consumer, this choice does not deprive you of mandatory protections provided by the law of your country of habitual residence. Courts with jurisdiction under applicable law may hear disputes; these terms do not require a consumer to give up a court or venue available under mandatory law.
13. Severability and contact
If part of these terms is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining parts continue to apply to the extent legally possible.
